Bomb Scare Leads to Federal Office Evacuation

Authorities in Ft.Worth received a bomb threat for the federal building there.

After the horror of the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, it isn’t surprising that authorities are quick to check out possible bomb threats.

Federal employees in Fort Worth, Texas were evacuated from the Lanham Federal Building yesterday after the fire department received a bomb threat.

An investigation did not find any explosives but the evacuation was ordered at 10 a.m. so authorities could check out the building further. The fire department left the building about an hour later and employees returned to work.
