Federal Managers Win Senior Fellow Leadership Awards

The Council for Excellence in Government has announced the winners of the Senior Fellow Leadership Excellence Awards.

The award recognizes three top performing federal government managers who have improved the lives of others through personal integrity and dedication to public service. The Awards are given in three areas: Achieving Results, Leadership in Action and Public Service Excellence.

The recipients of these awards are:

The Public Service Excellence Award – Colonel (Ret.) Jill Phillips, Clinical Director, Air Force Assessment and Demonstration Center (formerly Army Colonel from Walter Reed Medical Center) is the winner of this award for her leadership achievements to transform delivery of military health care.

Leadership in Action Award – Michael Janosov, Special Agent in Charge, Air Force Office of Special Investigations was selected to receive this award for his leadership achievements in counterintelligence support that saved countless lives in Iraq.

Achieving Results Award – John Chambliss, Chief, Network Operations Management Branch, Internal Revenue Service, Tennessee Computing Center was selected for this honor for his leadership achievements to bring enterprise-wide control and management to the network infrastructure.
