What is Actually in the Stimulus Bill?

What is actually in the new stimulus bill that will be signed into law this week?

The bill was not posted in time for it to be read before Congress voted on it. No doubt, with almost 1100 pages of massive federal spending, there are plenty of surprises in store.

Much of the new spending will be done by federal agencies and, undoubtedly, at least some federal employees will be reading the portions of the bill of interest to your agency.

Take a look at the bill (it is in two parts) and let other readers know what surprises you find or what you think will be of the most interest to other readers or to employees in your agency. Be sure to give a citation so that others will be able to peruse your observations. You can post your conclusions in the comments section.

You can download the bill from this article. It is in pdf format and each of the two parts may take some time to download because of how large the bill is.
