Six House members sent a letter to President Obama today urging him to nominate four individuals to the National Labor Relations Board and work with the Senate to have them confirmed.

The House members said that until an appointed Board is seated, “uncertainty will reign in labor-management relations to the determent of America’s workers, employers and unions.” They also stated that given a recent Supreme Court ruling (New Process Steel v. NLRB), any decision issued by the Board will be in doubt and cannot be relied upon.

The six House members that sent the letter are:

  • John Boehner (R-OH)
  • Eric Cantor (R-VA)
  • Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)
  • Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA)
  • John Kline (R-MN)
  • David P. Roe (R-TN)
