On Friday, July 12, 2013 from 10:00am to 11:30am ET, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) will host a webcast.  The topic for the webcast will be a Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) Overview.

You may also attend in person at the OPM building in the Alan Campbell Auditorium.  To speed up the building security process, please RSVP to Dawn Thomas atDawn.Thomas@OPM.gov  by COB Wednesday, July 10, 2013.   Include your name as it appears in your ID and your agency.

Background:  This year, OPM is unable to host their Benefits Officers Training usually held in June and Fall Festival of Training usually held in November each year.  To continue to provide training to those that usually attend our training events, we will be hosting webcasts throughout the year.  We are in the planning stages to host a training event next spring in Pittsburgh, PA.

Event Description:  In this webinar, Michael Evans of the Retirement Services, Benefits Officers Training and Development will provide a general review of the CSRS and FERS retirement systems.
