In recognition of his outstanding service, Peterson was presented the award by Sacramento District Manager Barbara Plunkett and Oakhurst Postmaster Holly Baker.

“I’m very proud of the exceptional customer service that Mr. Peterson has provided all of these years,” said Plunkett. “This award is a very big deal.”

“I never expected this,” said Peterson. “I’ve enjoyed every minute of the past 24 years.”

Baker nominated Peterson for the award because as she puts it, “He epitomizes outstanding customer service. We all could learn a thing or two from him.”
