Phased Retirement Forms Now Available

Forms to apply for the phased retirement program are now available from OPM. Here are the links to these forms.

As noted in Phased Retirement : Will It Be a Reality in Your Agency?, the first day to apply for phased retirement is November 6th.

OPM has previously indicated it would make the necessary forms to apply for phased retirement available by November 6. The forms were released in their final form on this date. Here are copies of the forms you may need in applying for the new phased retirement program:

Also, note that phased retirement is not yet available in many agencies and that implementing the program at all is largely at the discretion of each agency. Readers will need to check with their human resources office to find out about current availability of this program or when it may be available.
