I've had more experiences with these types of Supervisors in the Private Sectors. Federal Government supervisors retaliate. Almost as if it's part of their training.

The group only works well where there is a good and FAIR supervisor! I work where there is more social workers and psychologist. Social workers do not like nurses and nurses don,t like social workers. i know its lack of knowledge of each job. its too bad !

When I came to work for the FAA, this was one of the finest organizations within the Federal Government. Employees were hired, trained, and empowered to achieve successful results with the support and nurturing of the experienced supervisors and managers. Since that time, I have seen the morale of the organization plummet, as inexperienced and politically appointed managers have relished in employee intimation and micro-management. Recently, I heard a division manger tell employees at a conference, that he would “Trust, but verify”. Think about that statement. Ronald Reagan used the very same language to tell the leader of the Soviet Union he did not trust him. Presently, the FAA rates 214 of 216 Federal agencies and continuing to fall.
