Actually, I am considering retiring to Canada. Their health care system & cultural climate is among the reasons.

I am a republican who is tempted to switch parties for the upcoming election. Not because I have suddenly become a democrat but because I don't see any way for a republican to win in the next election and I have strong feelings about having a voice in not having Mrs. Clinton get the nomination. Therefore, I would have to give Obama the nod on this.

You're nuts! If you don't feel a Republican has a chance why vote at all? Just stay home with all the other sheep on election day!

The Meteorologist does make a good point, he/she may not have a strong opinion on other candidates but a Hillary presidency will be detrimental to the well being of this country and a move to prevent that is a smart move.

Changing between Democrat and Republican is not as easy as you make it seem. we vote for candidates because they represent those values that we beleive in.

You my friend are being guided by polls, depend on your own heart. A vote for Obama or a vote for Hillary matters not, they stand for the same thing. Do your research before you vote and don't let the TV do it for you.

I'd rather my taxes go to support health care for poor childrean than unnecessary wars in the near east. At this point, I plan to give my vote to the Democratic candidate. I don't think we can afford 4 more years of Republicans.

You're basing your opinion on a false premise. If you think the war we're engaged in is unnessecary then you're living in a dream world.

The war in Iraq was unnecessary. All it did was create chaos and allow the terrorists to expand their training grounds and increase recruitment. The war in Afghanistan was necessary, but it wasn't completed, as it should have been.

100 brownie points to anyone who can tell me when we know the Iraq war is won! (Or lost, for that matter.) I still can't figure it out.

Reformed Conservative, you're getting off topic (so is former fed to some degree). What are your thoughts on what Democratic candidate should win the nomination?

Most people are not taking in the big picture. The question that remains unanswered is what other failed policies (General health care) will she try to bring back from Bills administration? A key factor will also be ignored is not if this country is ready for a female president but if other countries are ready to see us with one? Alot of countries in the middle east will see us as a weak nation purely based on the presidents gender.

I think the only salvation left for the USA now is to elect Ron Paul.

Instead of dismissing him because of MSM's unfair treatment of him, find out for yourself what he stands for and then you will see he is the right one.

All the others, Democrats and Republicans are all members of the same club. There is no real differences between them.

Why is it they (?) always say that the majority of those polled will vote some way, yet I've never been asked, am I not pollable? Voting for Hillary in as president would be damaging for the county, JUST LOOK AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS! the only thing that the democratic congress has done (in almost a year) is bitch about Bush. I can't believe that the majority of people are intending on voting for one who can pass a bill (Go Woodstock museum) or work with the president to get things done. Its her platform to ignore and go with public opinion, who ever opinion that might be!

Where did they do the polling at the DNC?

"Assistant Director" of what? This is some pretty poor writing for someone with such an impressive-sounding title. Some rather slip-shod thinking as well. No bureaucrat left behind!

Contract Specialist, do you have anything meaningful to contribute to the discussion or do you just want to shovel out insults?

DFAS Supervisor, you don't get the point. CS wasn't trying to insult the Director, only pointing out that the sloppy writing wasn't helpful to his argument. It doesn't reflect well on any of us feds when a higher-up can't communicate on a more intelligible level than that. I'll never be a director of anything, but even I can do a better job of writing to a site like this. Then again, that's probably one reason the lord gave us two ears & eyes but only one mouth.

The Contract Specialist seems to be entrenched in the DNC way of thinking. Insults over intelligence

"Entrenched in the DNC way of thinking. Insults over intelligence." Who is being insulting with that remark? As if the "RNC" were any better!

Do not assume that all females support Hillary because she is a female - she most certainly does not represent us all! She is the opposite of what most of us aspire to be.

If I ever had to vote for Democrat, it would be for Bill Richardson - he is definitely the best of the bunch. He is what he is - no pretentions.
