I have a supervisor who does not know how to talk to his employees if he is not yelling or cursing. He expects you to do things that you have not been taught and when another worker helps you he has a fit and takes it away and does it himself.
Sometimes I just walk away to get out of saying something I might regret later.

I was the victim of unprovoked workplace violence from a co-worker and I have 3 witnesses. I reported the incident to HRO who in turn reported it to the operations supervisor. I feared for my well being and came in 15 minutes late to work the next day. Today is a week later and no report to security has yet been made although the command has a published "zero tolerance policy" on such conduct. Operations management has made moves to discipline me. I'm now preparing another avenue of redress through the command headquarters office. Who will help me but me and my union. Thank God, I know what needs to be done but there are other employees who do not. That's why a good union is necessary to protect employees from management not taking serious subjects seriously.
