Hypocrisy 101 is the American Way - nobody does it better than we do!

Wear a flag on your lapel while you treat the vets like dirt when they get home - we still haven't taken care of the Viet Nam Vets in an honorable way - I worked at the VA when they came home - it hurt me so bad, I had to get another job - couldn't stand it - and they continue with their "we love our vets" hypocrisy with the returning vets from Iraq and Afghanistan and who knows where else our young men and women have been placed. I support them because they have laid down their lives for family, friends, and enemies alike. They deserve more than a Commander In Chief running around with a flag on his lapel, they deserve someone that will NEVER EVER forget their sacrifice - that lapel pin don't do nothing but appease a bunch of hypocritical airheads! Just like toting a bible don't make one a Christian, wearing a flag pin don't make one patriotic! My friend must be right, there is something in the water!

Obama cut himself off from Rev. Wright? Maybe in the past couple of weeks because Wright was getting so much press time after his racist rant at the Press Club, accusing the American Govt of creating AIDS, etc. Before that, Hussein Obama spent 20 years going to the church where Wright was the pastor. And in that time, if recent history is any indication, Wright went off on these racist/Anti-American rants on a weekly basis. Obama should have seen and heard the light and removed himself from this situation long ago, not just now that it is politically expedient.

One is known by the company he/she keeps, and that tells me enough about Obama to vote for ANYONE else.

So instead, you'll vote for a candidate who is affiliated with a minister who states that the Catholic Church is (I won't repeat the word he used here), states that gay people in New Orleans caused Hurricane Katrina, and who preaches against people with AIDS?

As I say, hypocracy is alive and well and living right here in the US of A.

I am just shock that after 8 years of Bush, some American still wants another 4 more years of the same type of policies (McClain) in leading our country. In 4 more years under McClain I guess you will be happy with gas at $8.00 a gallon, our military still fighting in Iraq, our bridges falling into our rivers, all of the new McDonald and Wal-Mart jobs, our highway looking like the moon and our wages being eaten up by all the high cost of living in America. Your type of thinking is very sad.

Lets see:On the one hand we have an ex-peacenick feministist bleeding heart socialist Robin Hood,and on the other we have a person that will not stand up for the National Anthem, will not be sworn in on the Bible,and attended the church of radical bigot for over 20 years, and still would be were it not for his political aspirations.
Then we have a veteran that suffered at the hands of the enemy for years, endured unspeakable pain and horrors,while Hillary was back home marching against his cause.
And Obama was not even a twinkle in his dad's eye at that time.
And we now have a chance to give a little back to one who gave so much for his country.
Not a tough choice for me.
Just so you know, I am not white, so fold up the bigotry card deck and cash in your chips.

you need to read the american history books. you seem to under the impression that america can say and do anything its wants to whomever, anywhere in the world. I some things wright said he was correct whether you like it or not. If you take a long hard look at our history we have taken, taken and taken. never really tried to treat others with digity or respect. just taken what we wanted; their land, their self respect, their culture and than theri lives. the world knows this. we disguise our concerns under the idea of freedom for all outside of the US. but inside we still practce overtly, quitely, we still practice racism.

Isn't that what our current president has been claiming to do as he involved us in a costly invasion and occupation of Iraq? I do not think God is pleased by mass killings.

Some of the most brutal acts in history have been committed by those claiming to listen to God. We need look no further back than 9/11 to see the results.

Any politician claiming to be guided by prayer will get extra scrutiny from me.

What's wrong with displaying a little patriotism - especially when you are in the public eye?? It sets a good example, to say the least. As much as I disagree with the current adiminstration on lots of things, one thing I will never, ever do, is disparage my country and what it stands for. I will fly an American flag, I will cover my heart - because I love my country. Truthfully,
politicians, all of them, have their own agendas. I don't care what color or sex our president is. (As much as many of you like to believe) If I don't agree with Obama, its because of his stand on certain issues. Now is NOT the time to play the race card - on either side. It only angers people and puts them on the defensive. Both blacks and whites can be "closet" racists.

LOL Wonder why the media hasn't blasted this all over the place - because it don't look good for the Republicans, GW and white middle class America and why would they, we have good ole Mr. Obama to whip!

That's right. Forget about the mess in Iraq, the falling dollar, the food crisis, rising gas costs, etc. Just base your vote on the size of the raise you got! Which by the way was despite the White House who wanted lower raises for civil servants. We have Congress to thank for the raises, not the President.
