The author has a good template for achieving your vision. Here is what I find works over the years of assisting clients:
Clients don't always have a clear vision of what they want. Making what you want is a process.
I suggest that first goals may be as basic as "to meet daily appointments." These I call baby steps. Then Giant steps can follow - Each goal should be bigger, eventually including major goals for work or life.
Then in the process of strategic vision building there are several elements in the process and including specific people that need to be picked out of the organization to formulate the vision. These include: setting ground rules for the vision group; a mission; identifying strengths and weakness; challenges; best opportunities for improvement; core values; key result areas; guiding principles and vision elements.
