Here we go again with the same misunderstanding concerning separation of Church and State. As long as Government does not favor any religion over another this constitutional issue does not apply. If anyone looks at each (all fifty) State of the Union's Constitution they will see that God is mentioned first and foremost. People are so ignorant and their interpretation of this issue has become so ridiculous that is appalling. Religion is part of this Country. ALL religions are welcome, even Atheists. The problem is that Government wants to be so politically correct that it has poisoned the people's mind by doing so. And since most people are so unsure of themselves they go along with it. It is the same with Race. Since when is hispanic or latino a race? You can be white or black and be hispanic.

Wheelchair Tech, you misunderstand the true meaning of "separation of church & state". It is not a denial of your God, or anyone else's, to declare that government shall make no law establishing a religion or preventing the free exercise thereof. Because this country has a mix of religious beliefs, it is necessary to keep a firm wall between the civil government & the practice of religion. The operation of govt at all levels is supported by law by citizens of every religious belief, including atheists (yes, "even atheists") therefore govt must treat all beliefs in an objective and neutral manner. And, no, this is NOT a matter of "political correctness" but something more important: moral correctness.
