This is super fantastic news. I am a cousin of Mr. Wright's. I attended the centennial celebration in Natchez, MS in Feb. 2008 along with the renaming of the Highway in his honor. Richard's dad was my father's uncle. He lived at our house briefly. I am sure that his daughter, Julia will be thrilled and honored too, to see this come to fruition. Even with the obstacles, he endured and turned his negative situation into a positive one. We can do all things if we just try. Mr. Wright proved that anything is possible. It is great to know that change is still coming to America and for that I am proud. I just wished the older relatives of ours had lived to see this. Thank you for this recognition.
