Obama do not deserve the negative press he has been given. McCain would have not done any better to stimulate the economy. He's only been in place just over a year, give it time. If the last one in office cared, Obama wouldn't have had the pressure of trying to fix this mess....

Not only does he lack a clue, he lacks proper grammar and punctuation.

It reminds me of an appraisal once. The writer actually stated, "He be good worker."

If we the people of the United States are looking to President Obama to change the outlook of this current economic situation; unfortunately, we are entering into a hope of futility. This will take all Americans working, praying and sacrificing together. We, Americans are to selfish to sacrifice for our brother and sisters. Afterall we care more for our pets than we do the homeless. Lets stop critizing our leaders, start praying for and supporting them through the good and the bad times. They are just fallible human beings; not gods. What made America great was "in God we trust", not in man we trust. It seems as though we have forgotten that.

Survey on President Obama's Performance so Far

It is evident that the small portion of Federal Employees who took part in this survey are the same ones who take part in most of the surveys given by this paper. While Obama was running for office the Surveys from ten with the same federal employees responding, said McCain was going to win (in their opinion). Wrong then and just as wrong NOW! Most people who can't or won't see the light for change in this country are just plain out of touch with the world. This is only the begining to many changes in this life time. Get over it and get ready for it. It is just not the presidential elections, our way of life has and is changing and for the better.. Equality is why the real reason why some people can't get with the program, they know who they are, because allot of you will be reading my response.

I can't believe the people that think everything was o.k. with the Bush admin. They must all be blind or crazy. Bush got us in this mess and Obama is doing his best to get us out. After 8 years of Bush, all Republicans need to just shut up and give the Dems their chance. It sure can't be any worse than it has been. And as far as putting our children and grandchildren in debt, this will all be over and done with by then. They'll have a much brighter future under the Dems then they ever could under the Reps. Just think of our children and grandchildren in Irag and Afghanistan, what kind of future is that?

Psssst, you apparently have not figured it out yet. But, I'll help you. Our children and grandchildren will be living in a 3rd world country like Iraq and Afghanistan because Obama is spending us into a 3rd world country..

"all Republicans need to just shut up and give the Dems their chance. "

Why? The Dems spewed out nasty rhetoric the entire 8 years of the Bush Administration, why should they get a free pass now?

Trying to quell free speech huh....

This was not a scientific survey by any stretch of the imagination. I doubt it even represents the views of most Federal employees.

The President's job approval ratings in poll after poll have been around 67%. That is in stark contrast to the FedSmith poll of self-selected participants--an extremely biased sample by any measure.

Yes, this survey IS skewed. FedSmith has a large portion of people who read it because they are smart enough and care enough to educate themselves.

I wounder if you had also included what you race and age were in the comments would t show a picture. I personally don't like the guy, but we need to give him a chance. He won the vote on young voters with no real life experiance and 99% of the black vote, that almost always vote democrate anyway, but this was "their man". They came down on if you vote against him (which I did) it was a color issue. For me he is very much to the left, he always has been, I'm very much to the right, I always have been. I bet the comments would mostly be young and minoritys supporting him and white, middle class, and older people disapproving of him, just like the election....
