It's great to credit sick leave towards retirement, but why isn't overtime credited towards retirement. I have worked lots of OT at an inadequately staffed SSA for years helping to make up the difference and getting those claims processed. I get time and a half, but why won't I get credit in retirement for doing lots (50%) more work. I have tried management and that's not for me.

really greedy with all the benefits that they expect. Private industry benefits, even for many large Government contractors, don't even come close to the liberal benefits. With all these possible changes does any one know of any change or the elimination of the offset some of us have to endure because we may have worked and PAID social security taxes for a significant number of years? I worked 24 years in the private sector and 27 years under CSRS. I do get SSI and a CSRS pension but the amount from social security is offset a significant amount. Since I paid into both systems why am I penalized this way?
