I heard most of America's virgin forest land is owned by China or Japan. Can't cut the trees without getting their permission first. (China holds a quarter of all our foreign debt now, too, according to the news the other night.)

Check out the moonbow at Yosemite Falls in the Spring. It usually happens during the month of May at the full moon. It's quite a site, standing there in the dark, waiting for the moon to rise over the soaring granite cliffs, with paparazzi and their cameras lurking in the shadows, chatting it up, and waiting for the big event. John Muir loved it too!
