How most of these articles (all of them actually) are in the category of "What's in it for me" or "What do I get". People are happy to discuss politics, religion, and what not until the cows come home, but you bring up something specifically regarding their pay or benefits, and they stand up and notice.
Have we become that materialistic that we care about money the most? Is the love of money first and foremost in the hearts of all you feds out there? Has it become your golden idol (no pun intended)?
That proves it. Feds are exactly like the rest of the population, chasing the almightly dollar right from the starting line with vim and vigor. The rest appears to be secondary.
