Guiliani, Pataki, Bush, Cheney, Zell Miller. What were their war records? At least Kerry has a war record. He knows what war is about. It's not a joke. The war in Iraq is not a joke either. Bush and Cheney have no clue to sit in a trench full of vermin crawling all over you. John Kerry does. Those kids who went to Iraq thought it was going to be easy. War is never easy. That's what so confusing about Bush. He calls himself "The wartime President". What war was he in during Vietnam?
He and Cheney are the joke. I was in the army, but never in combat. The guys that went were usually a little different after they came back. I don't think Bush, Cheney, Guiliani, Pataki, or Zell Miller have a sense of combat and what it does to you.
If you read this message. Thanks for listening.

I am not happy with President Bush on several issues; but I will not vote for a man who denies a botched abortion baby the right to medical care and on a less significant issue deny people the right to a secret ballot when voting for or against a union.

As a Viet Nam veteran, I am appalled at John Kerry now wanting to be a war hero, after dissing his fellow servicemen, accusing them of horrible atrocities (I was a Grunt...I didn't see any of these atrocities), and then throwing in with likes of Fonda and the Hollywood Yahoos...He shames all of us who served honorably...can't have it both ways, Teddy......

What a great time to run a poll: right before labor day when a high percentage of the federal workforce is on leave. FedSmith, your motives and objectivity are suspect.

The whole political system is so full of lies and misinformation, it's a wonder ANY of us ever vote! To me, the issue of what someone did or did not do over FORTY years ago does not affect me in the least. ALL of us have changed some over 40 years, especially in our view of the world of politics. One of my great grandfathers was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in the late 1890's, but no other family members have chosen politics as a career. WHY WOULD WE WANT TO? The ethics are just not there; destroying your opponent is the norm, important issues take a back burner, deceipt and lies are rampant, bills get passed with much obscure legislation added on, which benefits some big supporter or company. PAC's and lobbyists thrive and the average American gets screwed pretty much daily. Yes, the USA is a wonderful country, but our democratic system needs some SERIOUS overhauling so that people are again enthusiastic about voting and the turnout is bigger than the 30% of registered voters that have shown up for the last 10 years or so! A true democracy should not be run by 30% of the population!

I had many debates in the 60's "FOR" our troops. By using Vietnam as his platform, John Kerry struck the nerve of many people including the Vets in this country. What happened to the Vets when they came home was horrible and should not have happened! He may have served honorably, but his Senate testimony was uncalled for. If he really did take a camera to Vietnam just to get his political career started, then he blew it when he came back! My vote goes to "W"!!!

The ads more or less just support how I feel about Kerry's character or lack thereof and his record as a Senator on voting and lack of attendance. His true colors came out in his testimony and you can't change that.

So, I'm not sure it's only the "rich" who get tax breaks from Republicans. Sorry, I'm voting for Bush!

My adult daughter was able to deduct 100% of her early 401K withdrawal because she used it for tuition and she got 90% of her taxes back because she was able to deduct her tuition payments. She also received generous pell grants that President Bush supports.
In the federal sector we were permitted to start tax free health savings accounts this year, our health care premiums are not taxed, they allowed us to increase our TSP contributions considerably last year and our payroll taxes reduced.
I feel a lot safer these days and have more money in the bank, my pay check increased every year Bush has been in office and I'm saving more. I know what I’m getting with President Bush and I too am voting for him this election and apparently so are the majority of federal workers according to this recent survey.

Don't go by what your party spouts as facts! Use the data they collected and see what it says.
