Isn't it about time to stopthe Federally sponsored CFC and to let a'eged charities sink or swim on their own, independently established, merits. Solicitation for "charity" should be banned in the Federal workplace entirely, rather than being confined to CFC. Charith does not begin, or end, in the Federal workplace; rather, it has no place here.

BRAVO!!! I get so tired of giving money to one organization, then getting emails and phone calls from organizations I had not contact with previously.

Thisn is why for several years I stopped contributing (unsolicited requests also skowed, then stopped) In my ignorance and lack of foresight, I started contributing again starting with 1/1/05.

We should not be subject to unsolicited mail and phone calls because we were generous enough to contribute to a CFC Charity.

I would prefer they provide asterisks for those charities whose employees make more than twice the salary & bonuses of Gov't employees, i.e., those so-called charities who distribute the profits to themselves.

I hope people will give, either through CFC or on their own, to those organizations and federations that have not been accused and that do keep only a small percentage for themselves.
