As a young professional just entering the workforce, one of my primary objectives was to someday work for the Federal Government. After 21 years of service, I'm actually ashamed of how many of our civil service employees abuse our financial resources. If you're part of the system, then you'll understand that accountability is what Congress needs to revise if anything. This accountability becomes more apparent as we enter an age whereby cheap energy becomes very scarace. Our lose ways of managing scarace resources outway any gains that are achieved. For more than 100 years the U.S. has achieved many things because of cheap crude oil. Now, however, we're no longer going to have cheap energy and thereby our results in government disappear very quickly. Without reform to a broken system resources are wasted resulting in minimal productivity.
