Great write up. I admire Yvonne for proceeding with her claim. The Goverment try's every avenue they can to get out of giving money to a rightful recipient. Just in hopes that they will give up. I say go for it.

The story states that she filed for rtirement before James died so that she could receive full annuity. I just wonder if she will have to pay back what she has already received? Is she trying to milk the system for everything that she can get? And just how legal is claiming married when it is convenient?
If she can pull this off, then she will be setting a precidence that could open up a BIG can of worms.

Its appears that the two were maintaining dual status (single/married) to maximize their monetary benefits.
One way or another she has made a fraudulent claim and should suffer the legal consequences.

common law marriage, if that is what you call why not just get the legal paper so you can be the wife
and get the money. if you love each other Love each other legal
with a marriage paper and do in front of other people. you want the money when he/she pass so
pass for legal. or just put your name on his/her check book with the same address please don't get any babie or let he/she be marriage to somelse before you can along PLEASE THINK OF WHAT COMMON LAW MARRIAGE IS JUST
