I am sure prior to this incident this guy had a stellar career. NOT! The truth is this guy wreaked havoc on the federal sector for the last 35 years - and was protected. The old axiom is still holds true. “xxxx floats to the top".

Typical of the government to praise someone like this on his way out of the door. This guy should have been fired, and not allowed to retire. The typical Joe Blow would have been disgraced and fired without any benefits. Management protects management, regardless of how lousy they are.

Hopefully the overhauling of the health care under Obama administration will fix all this VA medical hospital problems.

I have been with the VA for seven years now. I love taking care of the honored, heroes of our country. I have endured reprisals for reporting abuse of a Vet, and am so glad to see that OIG, and others are taking action against the people who are breaking laws and taking away from the care our Vets. There is NO place for this kind of behavior, as our heroes need our undivided attention for their heathcare, and their families need our undivided support. Kudos to all who are investigating and clearing up this mess so we as caregivers can do our jobs without worrying about reprisals, intimidations, and glory seeking behaviors among management and unions. We love and respect our Veteran Heroes who have kept our country free! Help us stamp out these behaivors and devote all our time to those who serve!! God Bless You All.
