Columbus, OH, Letter Carrier Mike Herron usually doesn’t even glance at a Columbus house in a quiet East Side neighborhood when he’s delivering mail — the house is vacant. As noted in the article by Marilyn Loeser (See Letter Carrier Saves Newborn While Delivering Mail), Mr. Herron found a baby girl wrapped in a trash bag in an abandoned house.

 

These photos provided to FedSmith by Marilyn are a reunion held a few days after the baby was found and after the baby girl has been placed with a foster family.
