Every year, the second Saturday in May is set aside by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to hold their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

All you have to do to participate is place non-perishable food items like canned meats and fish, soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice in bags next to your mailbox. Please do not include glass containers.

When your letter carrier arrives to deliver your mail, they will pick up the food. All food goes to support the food bank, shelter or food pantry in your community. This is your chance to help others less fortunate.

The U.S. Postal Service, United Way, the AFL-CIO, Feeding America and the Campbell’s Soup Company are partnering with the NALC once again this year.
