The Sanders family recently competed on the long running television game show Family Feud. But this family isn’t just connected by blood; they’re also postal family members.
The New Jersey postal employees include Beverly Postmaster Pamela Wilmer-Sanders, Clementon Letter Carrier Michael Sanders Jr., Glassboro/Williamstown Letter Carrier Dawayne (Wu) Sanders, Willingboro Customer Service Supervisor Craig Cole and former Letter Carrier Andrew Cole.
“They held auditions in Atlantic City,” said Wilmer-Sanders. “We were chosen among thousands of other families competing for a spot on the show (which will air October 29, 30 and 31).”
Wilmer-Sanders said the whole family is excited about their upcoming television appearance, although they can’t disclose the game results.
“It certainly was a pleasure meeting Steve Harvey and all the rest of the wonderful producers and Family Feud staff members,” she added. “Behind the scenes Mr. Harvey is a true comedian; he’s hilarious!
“The laughs and memories are permanently embedded in our memory banks,” she said. “We are very grateful and humble for the opportunity.”
