As you get ready to file your federal income tax return at the last minute, this might make you feel better: you probably paid less than your boss and also less than the guy who wants to be your boss.

President Bush paid $227,490 in taxes this year (about 28% of his income), VP Cheney owed $253,067 and presidential candidate John Kerry paid $90,575.
