Hurricane fund help for federal employees

FEEA has set up a hurricane fund to help federal employees needing financial assistance.

As a result of torrential rains and high winds in Southwestern Florida, evacuations due to flooding and wind damage are widespread.

The Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA) has formed a 2004 “Hurricane Fund” to help federal employees who need assistance in the wake of flooding and other damage caused by Charley and any other hurricanes.

Civilian federal and postal employees affected by this disaster may contact FEEA at 1-800-323-4140 or 303-933-7580 to receive information about grants and no-interest loans to help with temporary shelter, clean-up, rebuilding, and other expenses.

Donations to the fund may be made on line at www.FEEA.org, or by sending a check to: FEEA 2004 HURRICANE FUND, 8441 W. Bowles Avenue, Suite 200, Littleton, CO 80123-9501, or via credit card by calling FEEA at 303-933-7580.
