The 2016 presidential election season is getting into high gear. A few candidates have dropped out and, as the field narrows, the intensity in the presidential campaign goes up.
The first real test with election results starts in Iowa on February 1 followed closely by the primary in New Hampshire on February 9th. Many voters are just starting to look closely at the candidates and in deciding which one is the most appealing to serve as our next Commander in Chief. As voters start to narrow their preference, the issues that matter the most to them start to come into focus.
Federal employees tend to vote in high numbers, pay close attention to the candidates and the issues that matter to them and, of course, are impacted by the results of a national election both as an American citizen and also in their employment as a federal worker.
