141 White House staffers, or about 1 out of every 3, makes at least $100,000 a year, according to data released by the White House on Friday.
The highest paid employees make $172,200 a year, while three employees have a salary of $0. Most staffers fall somewhere in the middle: the modal salary is $42,000.
The average salary is $81,765 a year and the median salary is $69,115. The lowest full time salary is $41,000 a year.
Total payroll for all White House staff: $37,121,463.
Obama earns $400,000 a year including a $50,000 expense allowance (the latest annual salary for a President took effect January 1, 2001), and Biden earns $230,700.
