Manager Selected for F Fund

The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board has announced that it has selected BlackRock Institutional Trust Company as the investment manager for the F Fund.

The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board has announced that it has selected BlackRock Institutional Trust Company as the investment manager for the F Fund. The selection was made after completing a source selection using full and open competitive procedures.

The F Fund invests in a bond portfolio tracking the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond Index which includes U.S. government, mortgage-backed, corporate, and foreign government sectors of the U.S. bond market. As of September 30, 2012, the F Fund had $25.4 billion in assets.
