OPM recently issued guidance for federal agencies on processing paychecks after the shutdown in an effort to get federal employees paid as quickly as possible.
Federal employees were guaranteed back pay for the recent shutdown thanks to a law passed by Congress that ensures back pay for the latest shutdown as well as future shutdowns.
