OPM Announces 2019 Federal Employee Benefits Survey

The 2019 Federal Employee Benefits Survey is coming this fall.

The Office of Personnel Management announced recently that the 2019 Federal Employee Benefits Survey will be coming this fall. It was last administered in 2017.

The survey is given to a sample of federal employees and is used to measure the importance, adequacy and value of federal employee benefits to ultimately assess if federal employees believe that the available benefits meet their needs. It also helps to determine if federal employees understand the benefits that are available to them.

The survey is done confidentially via email to a random sample of approximately 50,000 federal employees. It will be available online for about 4 weeks, and follow up emails will be sent to non-respondents to encourage participation.

OPM will publish the results on its website on a future date after the survey is completed.
