2022 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey Coming Soon

The rollout of the 2022 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey is scheduled to begin in late May.

The Office of Personnel Management has announced the release dates for the upcoming 2022 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS).

This year’s survey returns to its spring schedule after having been delayed until later in the year due to the pandemic for the last two years. As has been done in the past, the survey will be issued in two waves, the first of which will begin rolling out the week of May 30, 2022. The second wave will begin the week of June 6, 2022. Agency points of contact have been provided specific rollout schedules for each agency.

OPM said that it has expanded eligibility to more federal employees for this year’s survey. The broadened eligibility allows inclusion of federal employees who are not considered permanent or who are not classified as full or part time to give more employees a voice in the survey.

The core set of questions used in the past will still be included to cover areas such as Employee Engagement, Global Satisfaction, and Performance Confidence along with a streamlined set of items on telework and employee wellbeing.

Results from past years of the FEVS are available on OPM’s website.
