Washington, DC topped the list of the most physically fit cities in the United States, according to a recent report.
The other cities rounding out the top 5 were Minneapolis, Denver, Portland, and San Francisco.
What makes a city “more fit” than another? The ratings are based on things such as the percentage of people in the city who were physically active in the last 30 days, numbers of people within a short walk from a park, and higher levels of state education requirements for physical education classes.
And the least physically fit cities? Those were: Nashville, Memphis, Louisville, Oklahoma City, and Indianapolis.
