New OPM Guidance Details Allowable Exemptions Under Hiring Freeze

OPM has released additional guidance on the hiring freeze which provides more detail on allowed exemptions.

The Office of Personnel Management has issued a memorandum which provides additional guidance on the recently announced federal hiring freeze.

The primary purpose of the memo is to provide further detail on the types of exemptions allowed under the hiring freeze.

The Office of Management and Budget also recently released additional implementation guidance for the hiring freeze which supplements this information from OPM.
