Postal Worker Pleads Guilty to Stealing Gift Cards to Buy Sex Toys

A former Postal employee has pleaded guilty to stealing gift cards from the mail and using one to purchase adult toys.

A former Brooklyn Postal worker recently admitted that she stole gift cards from the mail and used one to buy sex toys.

The New York Daily News reported that federal prosecutors stated that Iesha Conley took a $100 American Express gift card and then spent it on adult toys. She also made online purchases and had items shipped to her home.

Surveillance video from the Brooklyn mail sorting facility also showed Conley tearing open greeting card envelopes and putting the contents inside of a sweater.

The offense is punishable with up to five years in prison, however, according to the Daily News report, federal guidelines stipulate that if Conley faces any jail time at all it could be a maximum of six months in prison. Sentencing is currently set for April.
