FEVS Coming September 14

After some delays, the 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey finally has a set launch date.

Despite being delayed a couple of times due to COVID-19, the Office of Personnel Management announced that the 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) is about to arrive and will begin on September 14.

One new feature in this year’s survey will be a section addressing the COVID-19 coronavirus. OPM said that the questions on this subject will allow identification of ways in which federal employees continue to achieve agency missions despite the pandemic and that adding the section “aligns with Congressional interests and agency requests and will resonate well with respondents.”

Invitations to take the survey will be sent to federal employees in two waves beginning the week of September 14. Each agency’s survey will be open for six weeks.

Survey results will begin to be distributed to federal agencies in December with most scheduled for distribution after the first of the year.
