The General Services Administration (GSA) has released the per diem rates for fiscal year 2025. The new rates go into effect on October 1, 2024.
FY 2025 Per Diem Rates
The standard continental United States (CONUS) lodging rate will increase from $107 to $110 (2.8%), resulting in 296 non-standard areas (NSAs) receiving a lodging allowance higher than the standard rate.
The meals and incidental (M&IE) expenses per diem tiers for FY 2025 are changing for the first time since 2022. The standard M&IE rate will be $68, up from $59, a 15.3% increase. M&IE tiers are revised from $59-$79 to $68-$92.
The standard rate of $178 ($110 lodging, $68 M&IE) applies to most of CONUS.
The following locations that were NSAs (or part of an established NSA) in FY 2024 moved into the standard CONUS rate category:
- Ft. Wayne, IN (Allen County)
- Canton, OH (Stark County)
- Mentor, OH (Lake County)
- East Greenwich / Warwick, RI (Kent County)
- Waco, TX (McLennan County)
- Wisconsin Dells, WI (Columbia County)
